Myande Optimizes Technology for Sustainable Corn Starch Production Lines

Dec 08, 2025

Corn starch may seem like a simple ingredient, but it plays a vital role across a wide range of industries, including starch syrup production, food processing, pharmaceuticals, fermentation, and chemicals. This versatility gives it significant market value and growth potential. According to the 2025–2030 China Corn Starch Industry Development Potential and Future Trend Forecast Report, China’s corn starch demand is expected to reach 1.7 million tons in 2025 and grow to 2.15 million tons by 2030, highlighting the industry’s enormous market scale.

As overall market demand continues to grow, industrial clusters focused on corn starch production and deep processing are expanding rapidly. This growth has driven an increasing demand for efficient, intelligent production equipment. As a specialist in starch and deep-processing engineering, Myande Group Co., Ltd leverages years of industry experience and technological expertise to provide enterprises with high-efficiency, energy-saving corn starch production solutions, supporting industrial-scale production that is both efficient and environmentally friendly.

01 | Full-Process Corn Starch Production Line and Core Equipment

Myande’s corn starch processing centers on its advanced and reliable wet-processing method, known as “Steeping, Milling, Seperation.” By precisely controlling each step, the process ensures energy and resource efficiency throughout production. Fresh water is used only in the final starch milk washing stage, while all other steps utilize recycled process water, achieving a closed-loop water cycle for starch production.

🔸Key Equipment: Degerming mill, Pin mill, Centrifugal separator, Washing Cyclone, Hydraulic Screw Press, Tube Bundle Dryer and Evaporator.

🔸Process Flow: Raw material cleaning Acid treatment Steeping CSL concentration Corn crushing and germ separation Milling Fiber washing Separation and refining Dewatering and drying of starch, protein, germ and fiber.

This closed-loop process enhances total dry matter recovery in starch production while significantly reducing water consumption. At the same time, it minimizes wastewater discharge, delivering measurable gains in energy efficiency, water conservation, and environmental performance.

02 | Focus on Key Equipment: Pin Mill and Centrifugal Separator

Among the key equipment in the production line, the Pin Mill and Centrifugal Separator play a critical role. Myande’s MZM Series Pin Mills feature a modular design and intelligent control system, enabling fine grinding of a wide range of raw materials, including corn, tubers, and legumes. This versatility simplifies the production process while improving starch yield. Meanwhile, the MLXD38 Centrifugal Separator, known for its high-precision separation performance, is widely applied in key stages such as starch milk pre-concentration and starch separation. Through the coordinated operation of the MZM Series Pin Mill and large Centrifugal Separators, Myande ensures simultaneous improvements in both starch yield and purity.

The Pin Mill utilizes impact fine-grinding technology, with a processing capacity of up to 18–25 tons per hour (MZM1200 model), reducing corn to an optimal particle size while keeping residual starch in the fiber below 15%. The Centrifugal Separator employs high-speed separation technology to achieve efficient starch milk separation, with a throughput of up to 250 m³ per hour (MLXD38 model), and is equipped with sensors for real-time operational monitoring.

03 | Turnkey Engineering Services Reduce Risk and Improve Project Outcomes

Traditionally, corn starch projects have followed a fragmented delivery model, in which engineering institutes lead the design while project owners are responsible for civil construction, equipment procurement, installation coordination, commissioning, and other related tasks. Under this conventional approach, owners often face risks such as actual investment costs exceeding budgets, complex coordination among multiple suppliers, and difficulties in achieving smooth start-up and design capacity.

Leveraging its comprehensive design platform, experienced project execution teams, high-performance self-manufactured core equipment, and a strong supply chain, Myande is committed to providing turnkey solutions. These include engineering design and manufacturing, automation and control systems, installation and training, as well as after-sales support. By doing so, Myande frees project owners from the complexities of project construction, allowing them to focus on critical decision-making while significantly reducing project risks.

04 | Delivering High-Quality Corn Starch Production Worldwide

Over the years, Myande’s corn starch production line has been successfully deployed across Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Its products and services have earned strong recognition in global markets, helping customers achieve efficient, high-quality corn starch production.

As the corn starch industry shifts from scale-driven expansion to value creation, competition increasingly centers on technological innovation and resource efficiency. Through continuous innovation and full life-cycle services, Myande not only delivers production solutions that are efficient and low in energy consumption, but also empowers the global industry’s green transformation through advanced China manufacturing.
